PUBLIC WORKS

The Robeson Township Public Works Department consists of a Superintendent and a compliment of four crew workers.


The Department is responsible for maintaining 80 miles of roads, The Gibraltar Park, The Municipal Park and the former township building located on White Bear Road. The Department is committed to serving the Robeson Community with excellence, and strives to maintain the road system in the best condition possible.


The Department ensures warm and clean municipal buildings and maintain a safe, reliable vehicle fleet and equipment. The Public Works Department repairs roads, install drainage facilities, mow all township properties, maintain right-of-ways and in addition, plow snow, install signs, maintain parks and pave roadways.


The Public Works Department also responds to emergencies such as downed trees, clogged storm sewers and assist in vehicular events when called upon. Snow removal is a critical function of The Department and the crew is charged with removing snow from public streets throughout the Township.
